Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 101 class (10:10-12 pm). The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get there) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.

About last class & Group Work
The class so far is great as the book I'm currently reading for homework is pretty good so far. The group work was something to behold because the unique take of the assignment that is more incline with the social part rather than the written part which is good. Most public school & colleges nowadays would had students like us work similarly to an industrial work factory like in the 1820s to 1840s where little to no social interaction is needed to work on projects which of cores is outdated. One thing I would like to point out is that the way the classroom is structured and how it's design is kinda questionable but pretty shore the classroom is shared. Overall this was a good activity to push me more to doing better both academically and socially.

Hi Andrew: I'd like to hear more about what you mean when you write about "the way the classroom is structured and how its design is kinda questionable..." What do you mean by that?
